Update

So I have totally been slacking on getting a new post up. I have been busy with fun activities, girl scout cookie sales, helping in maddie's class and watching the hours of shows backlogged on my DVR. I do have my priorities. Last weekend we went to the Barrister's Ball. It was a lot of fun. I put pictures up on facebook, but realizing that not everyone gets on there, I thought I would put a few in for you!


My darling Girl Scout girls have earned lots of money for our new troop. It will be great to not constantly be asking for money from the parents for badges, crafts, etc. Well that was a totally short blog, but not much else going on.

Family Outing

Last night around 530pm, while watching the news and having already finished dinner, I realized that I had nothing planned for the evening. I announced to everyone that we were going to go on a hike. There is a bunch of trails just a few minutes away. It is part of the San Clemente Canyon. It was actually very nice and absolutely gorgeous! There are bathrooms, picnic tables, and a nice trail. The only downside is that there are a TON of holes on the dirt road as you drive into the parking area. Here are some pictures of our outing. I think I am going to print them and put them around the house and/or replace ones that are already in frames.

LDS Church v Big Love

For those on Facebook, you probably have been inundated w/ a bunch of conflicting information on the upcoming episode of Big Love. The Church came out w/ a statement today that is on their webpage. Whatever happens from this upcoming episode, I hope we can all agree that the best thing to do is what the Church leaders are saying. Things like this unfortunately will continue happening, but as long we continue with what we believe, everything will work out in the end.
